If it is Saturday, it must be Rome...

At 11;25 pm we have just returned from a very long day, leaving our hotel at 8:15 this morning. We started at the Colosseum, where we spent more than an hour on a tour. Then over to the Roman forum for a long walking guided tour. The weather was sunny, but cool.
We drove a little out of town for a wonderful lunch and training session at the galdiator school. No injuries, but some...shall we say...interesting pictures. Then back to Rome for a walking tour including Piazza Navona, The Vatican, and Trevi Fountain. Also had a non remarkable pizza dinner there.
Tomorrow, we are off early to Assisi, and then Florence, from where we hope to post some photos. Quite a few tired students here tonight. Let us hope no one sleps past the wake up call.
Ciao a tutti.

  1. It's great to hear that everyone seems to be enjoying themselves, it must be amazing to soak up all that history and walk in the same streets as some of history's most famous people. Looking forward to see some amazing pictures! Enjoy girls and to Dr. Piccininni and his wife and Mr. Lio thank you for giving the girls this amazing opportunity.
