We have all arrived at Pearson International Airport, got checked in, and made it through security. Our flight is about 30 minutes delayed, but Lufthansa assures us we will arrive on time in Frankfurt.

We had a few 'damp' eyes as the girls bid farewell to parents, but smiles returned when we arrived at the large duty free store almost at our gate. Quite a few student groups travelling today. The girls received their loot bags with pins to trade or give away, and also the Italian phrase book for their use in Italy. "pasta" and "gelato" are the same in both English and Italian, so no matter what, they won't go hungry.     Hoping to post again from Frankfurt.  Ciao
